Church Planting

Grace Methodist Church’s church planting program is a strategic initiative aimed at expanding the reach of indigenous Methodist congregations across Uganda, particularly in communities that remain underserved or unreached

We identify areas with spiritual and social needs and establish vibrant local churches that serve as centers of worship, discipleship, and community engagement. Each congregation is carefully supported to develop strong foundations in Methodist doctrine, local leadership, and sustainable operations.

Evangelism

A core component of our church planting efforts is evangelism. Our teams actively engage communities through outreach programs, preaching, and culturally relevant initiatives designed to share the message of Christ while respecting local traditions. This ensures that new congregations grow not only numerically but also spiritually, fostering genuine transformation in individuals and families.

Leadership Training

Equally important is leadership training, which equips pastors, church leaders, and lay members with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual maturity needed to shepherd their congregations effectively. Training covers theological education, pastoral care, community engagement, conflict resolution, and church administration. By investing in leadership development, Grace Methodist Church ensures that each planted church is sustainable, resilient, and capable of multiplying its impact.

Impact

Through this integrated approach of church planting, evangelism, and leadership training, Grace Methodist Church fulfills its mission to expand indigenous Methodist presence in Uganda while nurturing spiritually vibrant, socially engaged, and self-sustaining communities.
